Discontinued Product

Effective January 1st, 2012 ProTool Database Software has been discontinued.

Important Product Bulletin

Product: ProCAB-QC Software
Error: “ProCAB-QC Has Stopped Working”
Effective Date: 7/15/2011

Recent Security updates for Windows 7® delivered by Microsoft have caused several installations of ProCAB-QC software to cease to function. When attempting to start ProCAB-QC, the user will encounter the message:
  “ProCAB-QC Has Stopped Working”


The failure between ProCAB-QC and Windows has been traced to Security update Numbers KB2507938, KB2533623 and
KB2567680.

Work around: Uninstall these updates.  

Until a more permanent solution is found, you will need to configure your PC’s Windows Update settings to allow ‘manual selection of updates to install’ to prevent KB2507938 and KB2533623 from automatically reinstalling. (Contact your System Administrator or Accurate Technology for assistance uninstalling updates or configuring update settings)

 NEW Firmware Update 3.0F0

A new version of firmware is available for the following Digital Readout models:

700-1600-230 Basic
700-1600-235 General Purpose
700-1600-236 General Purpose (w/comp)
700-1600-435 ¼ DIN In-Panel mount
700-1600-700 Compact

This new firmware addresses a potential issue that may occur when the batteries in the readout are depleted to a specific low voltage level AND parameter programming or other updating occurs.  In some cases under these conditions, the  memory may be reset to default factory values without the user’s knowledge.
Accurate Technology, Inc. will provide this firmware upgrade at no charge.  The customer is responsible for shipping charges to our facility.
The occurrence of this issue can be averted by replacing the AA batteries on a periodic basis every 2 to 3 months for 700-1600-230, -235, &  -236, and 8 to10 months for 700-1600-435, & -700 which use a 3 volt lithium battery.

Discontinued Part

Effective May 15, 2010:
GagewaySM RS232 adapter (part # 905-1600-001 ) used to convert the ProScale Readout SPC data output to RS232 - will no longer available.
GagewaySM USB adapters will continue to be offered.

Obsolete Parts

Effective Oct. 1, 2009 no new orders for Capacitive Incremental Encoders will be accepted.
All warranties for products using these parts will be honored for the remainder of the warranty.

DigiStop
DigiScale

Non-Warranty products using this technology will need to be replaced with the newer Inductive technology (Models 180, 280 & 380).  Please call Accurate Technology for additional information if necessary.
